What Is FTC?
The FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is a mid-level robotics competition for high-school students. It offers the traditional challenge of a FIRST competition but with a more accessible and affordable robotics kit. New England Tech hosts the annual FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Tech Challenge Tournament.

The FIRST Tech Challenge is designed for high school age students to compete head-to-head, using a sports model. Teams of up to 10 high school students are responsible for designing, building, and programming their robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams.
